Where and when did you start rping?
Offline, when I was...sixteenish probably. Hooray Changeling: the Dreaming! Online, I started in early 2005, on the multiverse, because of [ profile] vivian_shaw. :3

Do you rp anywhere other than lj?
I tabletop and LARP all over the damned place, but online, LJ is home base. IJ is just stupid, I hate looking at it.

Do you play in any public games?
Taxon, mostly. I have stopped caring about D_M pretty much completely.

Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
Prose, really. It doesn't have to be extensive, but I likes me the metatext.

What was the first character you ever played?
lol the first journal I ever made was a HORRIFIC HP Mary Sue who I'm not even going to name. Then Lynne from Finder, and THEN Snape!

Who's your favourite character to play now and why?
The Brucolac. He's a magificent horror.

What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
Nexus Snape was pretty consistant for two years. Zane might actually be the longest, though. He's easy to write.

What's your biggest rp pet peeve?
People who make empty replies. If you'd like to continue a conversation with one of my characters, don't just answer a question, give me something to work with.

Do you read rp secrets and the rp anon meme?
I'll look at rp!s if I'm bored, but I've never read the anon meme. Not for any noble reason, I just never started.

If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
Community-based. I hang out on my own journal most of the time and play multiple characters, so if a game depends on me checking a character's flist, it ain't gonna happen. Happily, my frands are v. good at linking me to pertinent journal posts. <3

Would you rather play with someone who's very very IC but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always IC (but not terrible) and a great writer?
Great writers tend to be IC. They just make IC more flexible.

Do you have a "rp partner"?
Takh and Dele probably, but I don't really do exclusive rp.

Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? who?
I do like hearing about/reading my friends' characters, and used to still stalk C&C even after I'd stopped playing there, but not really.

In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
The history bits, for canon characters. For a character like Snape, I'm never sure how much is too much, and there are enough wikis and lexicons and fanpages that it's like reinventing the wheel. For BB, whose history is ~*mysterious*~, and OCs, it's more fun.

Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
Heck yes.

Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from?
Not if I'm in an apped game, like Taxon. If I'm in, I'm in all the way. In open games, I avoid people based on the quality of their writing more than their canon, though Hetalia and Twilight characters are pretty much s.o.l.

Most memorable scene in any thread?
Oh, let's see. Snape and Hippolyta pretty much all the time, ever. Also Deadpool. In C&C, the Brucolac went and stuck a flag in what was then the "North District" (I think they're actually calling the city NYC now, so it would be the Bronx), and the reaction of the other characters was great. THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED FORSHADOWING FOR TAXON AT ALL. AHEM. >_>

Do you rp sex?
Pff, I played a Pard pup. Yes, though whether I will or not is entirely dependant on the comfort level of the person I'm writing with.

Do you play more males or females?
I favor males, and I don't really know why. My ladies are almost all OCs, and OCs are harder to write, for me.

What won't you rp?
Well I've rped a LOT of stuff, and context is everything, but I am definitely not a fan of inappropriate touching/tormenting of children. Vore and scat are also not okay.

Dressing rooms: yes or no?
Never felt even the slightest urge.

Ever rped a pairing?
Yeah, I've picked up characters specifically to play them with others in...close relationships of various kinds.

Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
I prefer open post games, I think. Structure is good. Public games are fun for wandering in and out of at will, and for meeting new folks and trying out new characters. :>

Talking rp with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
Mmm. Awkward, thus far.
